  1. Disable mail delivery when you are unavailable (i.e. vacations, trips, etc.) so listserv subscribers do not get your “out-of-office” message when you are away. This can be done by logging in below with your listserv user e-mail address and password.
  2. Avoid using return receipts (contact information) when sending e-mail messages to the listserv, it creates unnecessary messages.
  3. Be courteous. Refrain from sending messages that may be construed as defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive or illegal.
  4. Ensure that your postings do not violate anyone’s intellectual property or other rights. Do not send information or other material protected by copyright without the permission of the copyright owner. By sending material to the listserv, the sender warrants and represents that they own the copyright with respect to such material or have received permission from the copyright owner. In addition, the posting party grants NAPO and users of this listserv the non-exclusive right and license to display, copy, publish, distribute, transmit, print and use such information or other material.
  5. Keep in mind that your postings will be shared with everyone and every additional comment will be viewed. The subject line should reflect the topic of your message. Either change the subject line, or begin a new thread when you decide to change the subject. Reply to the sender only (not all subscribers) if your message contains sensitive information, personal material, or attachments.
  6. Do not respond to comments with “I agree” or “good question”. Also, polite salutations (such as “thank you” and “have a good day”) should be avoided.
  7. Discussion of fees is strictly prohibited on this list.
Subscribing to NAPO-Member-Chat

Subscribe to the NAPO-Member-Chat listserv by filling out the below form. You will be sent an e-mail requesting confirmation, to prevent others from subscribing you without your permission. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by NAPO. Once NAPO approves your subscription you will be notified by e-mail.
